What are Patch Reef Park's hours?
Monday through Saturday the park is open 7:30 AM to 11:00 PM. Sunday hours are shorter, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Athletic fields close at sunset unless lights have been booked with a permit.
Is there an entrance fee?
No — Patch Reef is a free public park with free parking, including 535 parking spaces and 4 free EV charging spots. Specific amenities like pavilion rentals and the Paddle & Racquet Club have their own separate fees.
How much does it cost to reserve a pavilion?
Pavilion rentals run $75 per day for county residents and $150 per day for non-residents. Call the Pavilion Rentals line at (561) 544-8540 to check availability and book.
Is parking free, and is it accessible?
Yes. The park has 535 free parking spaces, including 19 accessible spaces and 4 free EV charging spots.
Are the tennis and pickleball courts free to use?
Courts at the Patch Reef Paddle & Racquet Club are managed separately from the general park and have their own fee and reservation system. Contact the club directly for current rates and booking.
Can I use the athletic fields for a league game in the evening?
Fields close at sunset by default. If you need lights for an evening game or practice, a lighting permit has to be booked in advance — check with Athletic Court Maintenance at (561) 393-7826.
Is the playground accessible?
Yes. Patch Reef's main playground includes accessible equipment and surfacing, and there's a separate toddler playground nearby. Accessible parking is available close to the play area.
Who do I call about park maintenance or a safety concern?
